General Public Access
Opening Day for Ski Resorts in Big Bear Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are scheduled to open to the public for the 21/22 winter season on Friday, Dec. 3. At Big Bear Mountain Resort, we appreciate our pass holders, which is why 21/22 BBMR and Ikon Pass holders get exclusive access at both mountains on Thursday, Dec. 2, before opening to the public for the 21/22 season on Friday, Dec. 3. Chairlifts and Terrain
Snow Summit – Lifts Open from 9 AM- 4 PM
Snow Summit ticket windows will open to pass holders at 8:30 AM*. Chairs 1and 8 will be available at 9 AM with access to upper to lower Miracle Mile and the Beginner Area, subject to change. Additional lifts and trails will open as conditions permit.
Bear Mountain – Lifts Open from 9 AM- 4 PM
Ticket windows will open at 8:30 AM*. Chairs 7 and 9 will be available at 9 AM with access to Upper Park Run, Expressway, Hidden Valley, and Inspiration, subject to change. Additional lifts and trails will open as conditions permit.
It’s hard to believe that Opening Day for Ski Resorts in Big Bear is almost finally open for the season.
