March Activities in Big Bear Lake

Skiing & Snowboarding
Snow Summit or Bear Mountain are the two places for skiing in February – either one has fresh snow and slopes for every skill level from beginner to pro. You can rely on the existence of lifts, rentals, and lessons, which in turn makes it very comfortable for you if you are an absolute novice or an expert skier already. Besides, the mountain landscape gives gorgeous views of the valley while you are skiing down.
Snow Tubing & Sliding
In case winter sports are not your thing or you have kids with you, then think about visiting the tubing parks such as Big Bear SnowPlay or the Alpine slide area for the entire day of sliding and fun. Snow-play areas are great for toddlers since they give the children safe and supervised access to the mild slopes for going down. It’s a great chance to enjoy the snow without the hassle of full ski equipment or being a professional.

Get ready to have a great time with a stunning helicopter tour in Big Bear that takes you up to the sky and provides you with 360-degree views of the snow-capped mountains, forests, and the lake that is situated far underneath. It is a surprising and fantastic way to witness the winter wonderland from the aerial view which can be used for photography or romantic purposes. These tours are available all year long including winter so you can still take one even in February.
For an adrenaline‑filled alternative, consider a 4×4 off‑roading adventure through the mountain terrain around Big Bear — snow‑lined rugged trails, forest tracks and remote views await. Guided off‑road experiences ensure safety and local knowledge, so you can focus on the thrill and scenery. A perfect fit for those wanting more than just the slopes.

Bowling Barn is an indoor venue that caters to your entertainment of all sorts and making it the main highlight of your leisure time, which comprises bowling lanes, arcade games and food options. A nice place for families or groups that want to have a fun day and enjoy each other’s company.
