4th Annual Big Bear Turkey Trot @ Meadow Park
Thursday, 24th at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The 4th Annual Big Bear Turkey Trot consists of 3 mile, 6 mile, and 9 mile Road Runs on Thanksgiving Day with Start/Finish line located at Meadow Park. This is a FUN event for the whole family. The run course is a relatively flat 3 mile loop through the neighborhood of Eagle Point, with 6 mile runners completing 2 laps and 9 mile runners completing 3, making it easy for all abilities to participate.
Turkey Trots are run on Thanksgiving Day in anticipation of the large meal to be had later on. Prizes include a turkey for the overall winner and runner costume contest. In addition, a portion of the $40-50 race entry fees will be donated to the Big Bear Senior Center holiday food drive.
The 9 mile race starts at 9:00 am, 6 mile starts at 9:15 am, and 3 mile starts at 9:30am.
Thanksgiving Day Cruise on Miss Liberty @ Pine Knot Marina
Thursday, 24th at 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Celebrate Thanksgiving Day with your friends and family on-board the Miss Liberty at Pine Knot Marina. Enjoy the spectacular Big Bear Lake fall views on a 1 1/2 hour Thanksgiving Day cruise. Lower Deck is fully heated.
Cost of Admission – $20 for Adults, $13 for children 12-5, Under 5 are free.
Santa’s Entrance & Tree Lighting @ The Village
Thursday, 24th at 5:0 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Tis the season! Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Claus as they ride into The Village on a sleigh! Entertainment starts at 5:00 p.m. with Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving at 6:00 p.m.
Santa will be at his house in the Christmas Tree Lot every weekend from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. through December 24th

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tells The Biblical saga of Joseph, the boy blessed with prophetic dreams, and his coat of many colors that comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. The show is directed, produced and stars some of the best local talent who have spent time on Broadway! Located at the PAC (Performing Arts Center next to City Hall near Boulder Bay). Tickets range from $20 – $29 and can be purchased at the door.

Wild Child – Doors Tribute Band @ The CAVE

Wild Child – Dave Brock’s Doors Experience is the Los Angeles based act with over 20 solid years of world tour experience and has flourished in the competitive L.A. Music Scene. Faithfully re-creating a live Doors Concert on stage. The music is painstakingly reproduced and combined with the voice, look and essence of Jim Morrison live on stage. Wild Child tries to mirror the depth, energy and emotion of The Doors concerts as they were live back in the late 1960’s. The Band also utilizes the same musical instruments live as The Doors.
