This free occasion features telescopes positioned directly on the pavement, offering all attendees the opportunity to gaze at the moon, adjacent planets, and any other celestial bodies visible after dark. Members of the Bear Valley Astronomical Society, local stargazing enthusiasts, will be present to address inquiries and assist you in attempting to capture an image of the moon through the eyepiece, located just outside Barrel 33 on Village Drive.

Sidewalk Astronomy is a free, hands-on stargazing event held right in The Village of Big Bear Lake.
