Big Bear Lake Snow Storm

Big Bear Lake experienced its first snowstorm of the year, and it is nothing but magic! The entire town is covered in snowy white sparkles making it a beautiful winter wonderland. Ready or not, snowball fights, snowman making, and great winter adventures will be going on in Big Bear Valley nonstop. The mountains with their white caps are summoning and the scenery is absolutely pure magic! Get the winter’s excitement and the cold wind that is crisp and at the same time playing with the snow-covered trees and come to see the amazing sights and activities that are just waiting for you in Big Bear!

Big Bear Ski Resorts Celebrate the Snow Storm

Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resort have a good reason to celebrate the winter storm, as they are reporting a fresh powder of up to 4 inches and more to come in the next few days! You can't ask for better conditions to enjoy the slopes and be part of the season's best!

Note: Highway 330, Highway 18 via Running Springs, and Highway 38 are currently subjected to R-2 chain restrictions. No vehicle will be allowed to operate on the roads unless it is a four-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicle with snow tires fitted. The four-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles in chain-control areas are also required to have chains in their possession. Alternatively, you could go through Highway 18 via Lucerne Valley, where there are no chain restrictions.
