What to Expect at WON Big Bear Troutfest

Get ready for a weekend of fun, competition, and great fishing at Big Bear Lake! Here’s what’s in store:

  • Prizes & Trophies – Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top winners in adult male, adult female, kids division (boys and girls), and overall big fish categories.
  • Blind Bogey Contest – Participate in this fun contest where anglers can win cash by catching a fish closest to a randomly pre-determined weight.
  • Raffle Prizes – Win amazing prizes, including Suzuki Spin-To-Win cash giveaways and top-tier fishing gear.
  • Goodie Bags – The first 600 entries will receive goodie bags with products from our sponsors.
  • Family Fun – A great event for anglers of all ages, with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Check-In Information
  • Friday, Sept. 26: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Big Bear Municipal Water District
    (40524 Lakeview Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA)
  • Saturday, Sept. 27: Late Check-in from 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM at the same location.
    It is recommended to check in on Friday to avoid the rush!
Tournament Schedule
  • Saturday, Sept. 27
    • Lines may be dropped from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Weigh Station: Open from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Big Bear Marina (40524 Lakeview Dr)
    • Anglers MAY NOT continue to fish after weighing.
    • Anglers can weigh in only ONCE per day.
  • Sunday, Sept. 28
    • Lines may be dropped from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • Weigh Station: Open from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Big Bear Marina
    • Anglers MAY NOT continue to fish after weighing.
    • Anglers can weigh in only ONCE per day.

Fishing Details

  • Stocking: Thousands of pounds of trout will be stocked in Big Bear Lake leading up to the event, providing ample opportunities for anglers to catch big fish.
  • Weigh-In Schedule:
    • Saturday, Sept. 27: Lines may be dropped from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Weigh station open from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Big Bear Marina.
    • Sunday, Sept. 28: Lines may be dropped from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Weigh station open from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Big Bear Marina.
    • Anglers can weigh in only once per day. Anglers will not be permitted to continue fishing after weighing in.
