Tour de Big Bear

Big Bear Lake is the perfect destination for your mountain biking and road biking mountain vacation.  Located in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest, Big Bear has everything you are looking for in a local getaway.  Only a two hour drive from Los Angeles, it’s easy to find a cheap cabin rental or a luxury cabin rental for a weekend road trip.  We are happy to have Big Bear Lake be the home of the Tour de Big Bear.

About Tour de Big Bear

Tour de Big Bear is one of the most celebrated cycling events in Southern California. Riders from all over gather in the mountain town of Big Bear Lake to enjoy cool alpine weather, breathtaking scenery, and a fun cycling community atmosphere.

Thursday

  • Check-In & Late Registration: Afternoon–Evening

Friday

  • Check-In & Late Registration
  • Live Music
  • Poker Ride at Bear Mountain Resort
  • Glow Ride (night ride with lights, awards, and fun at The Village)

Saturday

  • Late Registration & Check-In (morning)
  • Big Bear Cycling Expo (all day)
  • Live Music, Food & Libations, Beer Tasting, Family Activities
  • Awards Ceremony (afternoon)
  • Ride Start Times: Various morning starts for road, gravel, and family rides

Sunday

  • Recovery Rides (road & gravel) starting from The Village with light breakfast
  • Hosted group rides around Big Bear Lake
