Welcome Spring in Big Bear This Weekend
Big Bear weather is amazing right now, and this weekend is the perfect time to welcome spring to the mountains. With gorgeous spring blooms beginning to pop, sunny skies in the forecast, and fresh mountain air all around, Big Bear is made for getting outside. Spend the day hiking scenic trails, soaking up lake views, exploring the Village, and enjoying that sweet spot where spring adventure and winter fun overlap.
Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a solo reset, or a fun-filled weekend with friends, there’s no shortage of ways to play. Cruise around town, hit the trails, and make it easy on yourself with bike rentals available at the Big Bear Visitors Center. Then wind down with lakeside views, good eats, and crisp mountain evenings. Yes, you can still keep the snow season going a little longer. Go snow tubing with the family, or squeeze in one more ski or snowboard session before the season says goodbye. And when the sun sets, Big Bear’s dark mountain skies create the perfect backdrop for stargazing — one more reason spring weekends here feel a little extra magical.
