Ride Into the Sunset Above Big Bear Lake

Step aboard the scenic chairlift and watch the evening light paint the mountains in stunning shades of gold, pink, and orange. As you ascend, the panoramic views of Big Bear Lake and the San Bernardino Mountains create the perfect photo opportunity.

From the moment the chairlifts start spinning to the last notes of music at the summit, this event is designed for pure enjoyment. Arrive early, catch every moment, and savor the unique charm of Big Bear’s summer evenings.

  • Chairlifts start at 4:30 PM
  • Live band at the summit from 4:45 PM – 6:45 PM (artist schedule varies)
  • Final chairlift ride up at 5:45 PM
  • Final chairlift ride down at 7:30 PM

Pre-Party Fun at the Base Area – Open to All

The evening kicks off with an energetic base area party starting at 4:00 PM. Whether you have a summit ticket or not, you can enjoy great music, food, and community vibes before the main mountaintop festivities.

Base Area Highlights:

  • Live band from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Bighorn Smokehouse open until 7:00 PM
  • Bar open until 7:30 PM
  • Retail shops open until 5:30 PM
  • Basecamp activities open until 5:30 PM
