Red Bull Roll the Dice returns to Bear Mountain for a complete day of exciting slope activities which will take place in Big Bear Lake. The ProAm jib event which takes place on snow enables riders to compete against each other by using giant Red Bull dice which will determine their required jib and trick performances. The Red Bull Roll the Dice event at Bear Mountain combines competitive events with mountain culture elements and audience entertainment to create a memorable experience for visitors in Big Bear Lake.
Red Bull Roll the Dice transforms a regular day at Bear Mountain into a high-energy mountain experience. The riders use oversized dice to choose which jib and trick they must try which creates unpredictable and exciting running conditions. The gathering space allows families and friends to watch the performance while they enjoy live DJ music and snacks and drinks and experience the energetic environment which exists throughout the day.
Expect a full day of riding inside the terrain park at Bear Mountain. Riders roll the oversized Red Bull dice to reveal the jib and trick combination they must perform. Each participant receives two tries to land the selected trick. If the trick is not landed, they are eliminated from the competition.
Registration is $20 for ages 16+ and open to the public. Online sign-ups will be available for a limited time in mid-March, with some onsite registration also available on the day of the event, space permitting. All participants must sign a waiver (guardians are required to sign for minors). The competition requires participants to present either a day lift ticket or a season pass because it takes place on snow. Event date and terrain park setup subject to change at any time.
