Night skiing at Snow Summit kicks off in mid-December with fresh snow, open trails, and a great early-season vibe. Riders can enjoy smooth runs and the terrain park under the lights.

Night Skiing Session Dates

During Night Sessions, you'll have the opportunity to ski or snowboard beneath the stars on iconic beginner to intermediate trails. At Snow Summit, gain access to 125 acres of terrain on popular runs such as Upper Miracle Mile and Summit Run. At Snow Valley, cruise on Thunder Mountain, Upper & Lower Wine Rock, Eagle Flats, East Bowl, Big Bowl, Little Bowl, The Chute, and Mambo Alley. Dates are subject to change at anytime.

December: 13, 20-23, 25-31 (December 23rd & 25th – Cancelled)
January: 1-3, 9-10, 16-18, 23-24, 30-31
February: 6-7, 13-15, 20-21, 27-28

New Year’s Eve Concert & Torchlight Parade

Start your New Year at Snow Summit and be part of the 61st Annual New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade that returns on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, during 6 PM to 10 PM. One of Big Bear’s most iconic winter traditions is to watch over 200 skiers and snowboarders illuminate the trail down the mountain.

The Snow Summit base area will be buzzing with free entertainment, DJ performances, incredible views, and the slopes beautifully lit. Food and drinks will be served from the on-site dining venues all night long. There’s no need for registration, just come and have a great time.

Admission: Free and open to the public

Answer: Yes, you can buy a Night Session Ticket or have it added to a day ticket during finalization process.

Answer: Parking is free at Snow Summit after 2 PM for guests with Night Session reservations.

3. Can I use my existing lift ticket for Night Sessions?

Answer: Yes, you can reload your existing lift ticket card for Night Sessions to skip the lines and get to the slopes faster.
