Night skiing in Big Bear Lake turns out to be one of the most thrilling and enchanting winter activities to experience in this season. If you are either a resident or a visitor coming to the mountains, then Snow Summit Night Sessions will give you a remarkable opportunity to ski or snowboard under the stars on the nicely illuminated trails with fewer people around, cooler temperatures, and astonishing sights.
This winter, you can have an unforgettable night skiing experience in Big Bear during the peak season with all the family-friendly events, music, illuminated slopes, and unforgettable moments.
Night skiing at Snow Summit kicks off in mid-December with fresh snow, open trails, and a great early-season vibe. Riders can enjoy smooth runs and the terrain park under the lights.

During Night Sessions, you'll have the opportunity to ski or snowboard beneath the stars on iconic beginner to intermediate trails. At Snow Summit, gain access to 125 acres of terrain on popular runs such as Upper Miracle Mile and Summit Run. At Snow Valley, cruise on Thunder Mountain, Upper & Lower Wine Rock, Eagle Flats, East Bowl, Big Bowl, Little Bowl, The Chute, and Mambo Alley. Dates are subject to change at anytime.

Ways to get Access To These Exclusive Night Skiing Dates
Start your New Year at Snow Summit and be part of the 61st Annual New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade that returns on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, during 6 PM to 10 PM. One of Big Bear’s most iconic winter traditions is to watch over 200 skiers and snowboarders illuminate the trail down the mountain.
The Snow Summit base area will be buzzing with free entertainment, DJ performances, incredible views, and the slopes beautifully lit. Food and drinks will be served from the on-site dining venues all night long. There’s no need for registration, just come and have a great time.
During the event, pass holders will receive 10–15% off on food and non-alcoholic drinks. Stay tuned for more details as the date approaches.
