This event is where adrenaline meets mountain peaks, with a full weekend of trail runs, mountain biking, paddle races, and high-energy action set against the rugged beauty of Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Lakefest is where passion for the outdoors meets the heart of Big Bear’s mountain-town spirit.
Dive into the inaugural Swim Lakefest on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Big Bear Lake! Choose between a 1.2-mile or 2.4-mile open water swim starting at Swim Beach, looping around Eagle Point, and finishing at Ski Beach Park. Participants receive race swag, a finisher's medal, and are eligible for awards, including cash prizes for top male and female finishers. Please note: wetsuits are permitted but not eligible for awards. Be prepared for alpine conditions at nearly 7,000 feet elevation.
Join the excitement at Paddle Lakefest on August 23, 2025, at Big Bear’s scenic Ski Beach Park! Whether you're racing in the 5K, challenging yourself with the 10K or 20K, or just jumping into the fun relay with friends, this event offers a paddle race for every skill level. No boat? No problem — rentals and beginner-friendly options are available!
