Honestly a peaceful place, cute small. The host was very helpful wifi was not working when arrived but no issue once was told, someone right away came to fix it. Unfortunately I found it odd they still had the Christmas tree still up and they had stained pillows and curtains. Everything was calm and relaxing something best for me and my husband.

The place was awesome. The family had a great time. Destination big bear was very responsive with all my questions and requests. The only down side was on the second day we were washing dishes and we noticed water coming out of the cabinet. Once we dried it up we checked underneath the sink and it was leaking from the hose. We informed them. And I’m sure that will be fixed quickly since they do a great job at taking care of the place for the potential renters. Would definitely rent again.

This was the perfect place for our family getaway. We had other family to meet with and there is a park right down the street where we could all meet up. Then walk further down to the lake. Beautiful! The location is quiet and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable. The rooms were perfect for my family accommodations. All my family said how much they enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home and wonderful location within the woods. Close enough to trails and minutes away from the village. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful view from the backyard to enjoy your coffee. Would definitely book again and the instructions on what to do where very clear

Super cozy comfortable cabin high atop the mountain! Loved the Christmas lights and woodsy decor, especially the deer, pheasant, goose, etc hanging on the walls! Enjoyed the daily resident coyote visits! Note the master bedroom closet is off limits to guests so there is no place to hang clothes, but since it was just my husband and I, we had 2 additional rooms to use. Well stocked. Lovely property!

Overall our stay was nice. It felt like the property was owned by a huge corporation, which it probably is. So the communication was cold and not friendly. The house was as advertised, but it seemed sparse and very few if any amenities, such as no shampoo, no soap in the bathrooms. Little things missing that for the money, should have been there. So, bring everything you will need, basically you get the house and nothing else. But it's in a nice neighborhood, and it is peaceful and quiet.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The upstairs bedroom layout worked really well for our family with the kids staying up, while my husband and I enjoyed the king bed downstairs. Even the dog loved it. Super close to the Alpine slide. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view, however the cabin needed an upgrade. Carpet was dirty and dusty cobwebs above the ceilings. The downstairs was super cold also. Heater and roof had a water leak.

Beautiful cabin in an amazing location. Neighborhood with tall trees and forest feel. We came in Spring, so very little snow and walking distance to the lake. 5 minute drive to the Main Street with restaurants and a great Açaí bowl place. 5 minute drive to hiking locations with views of the lake. Honestly, couldn’t have been a better location and house for a girls cabin and hiking trip. Hot tub was the cherry on top. Also, this cabin had the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. AND kitchen was stunning. And the movie theater was really cool. Sat 8 people with reclining seats. 5 star experience. A few small recommendations if you go: - There were no hairdryers, so bring a hairdryer. 8 girls with wet hair, we got kind of cold. - The master bedroom has a BEAUTIFUL set of skylights with trees and stars, however no shade so sun comes in early. If you want to sleep longer, bring eye covers - Some of the downstairs bedrooms were much colder than others

If you're looking for peace and quiet in a spacious open concept cabin in the forest, look no further. This cabin home delivers all this and more. My family and I stayed for 3 nights. My twin grandsons (4yo) loved the swings in the front yard and the bunk beds in the bedrooms. Rooms were spacious and beds were cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for the whole family to relax and enjoy. We are already talking about our next visit! Thank you, Destination Big Bear!
